Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking field-based Customer Solutions Technicians to inspect, repair and install CCTV, doorbells and intruder alarms across the UK. You will be trained fully and provided with a company van, uniform and tools to perform duties to high standards.

Role involves testing systems, managing workload to meet targets, and delivering a high level of customer service. A rota-based on-call shift is required, with potential for career development within the Johnson Controls ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence is required.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at height safely.
• Practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work on a rota-based on-call shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, breakdown repairs and installations of CCTV, video doorbell and intruder alarm systems.
• Check system functionality: detectors, batteries, sounders and signaling equipment.
• Install and commission systems, including CCTV and access devices.
• Maintain accurate records, mileage, expenses and timesheets.
