Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler in Kettering to plan and coordinate the daily activities of a nationwide team of field-based engineers. You will allocate jobs effectively, optimise engineer diaries, and ensure customers receive high-quality service throughout the process.

You will work closely with engineers, customers and internal teams to prioritise reactive and planned works, manage changing schedules and ensure service activities are completed efficiently within

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning or coordinating roles.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience liaising with customers and field-based personnel.
• Good IT skills using scheduling, service management or CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule engineer visits, installations, maintenance and service appointments.
• Manage engineer workloads and diaries to maximise efficiency and coverage.
• Liaise with customers regarding appointments, updates and progress.
• Prioritise urgent and reactive requests while maintaining schedules.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet timescales.
• Maintain accurate records using scheduling and CRM systems.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to meet SLAs.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and address delays proactively.
