Job summary

Network Catering is seeking a proactive Job Scheduler to optimise maintenance and service workloads for a regional team of Engineers. You will plan daily schedules, coordinate with the service team, and prioritise urgent requests while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Based in the UK with a permanent contract, you will work standard hours 8:00–17:00, using FSM software to streamline diary functions and support efficient routing and resources for multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience of planning and prioritising daily schedules for engineers.
• Proficient use of field service management software to optimise diaries.
• Strong communication with engineers, service teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and update daily schedules for Engineers in an assigned region.
• Use field service management software to optimise diaries and efficiency.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or short-notice changes by re-prioritising workloads.
• Communicate with Engineers by phone and email to manage schedules and expectations.
• Liaise with the Service Team to align Engineer availability with SLAs.
• Order and allocate parts to Engineers ahead of jobs.
• Maintain records of Engineer availability, holidays, and training.
• Escalate issues to the Management Team when needed.
• Support workload planning for upcoming work, projects or seasonal demand.
