Job summary

Osprey Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking a Service Planner to join a friendly team in Wolverhampton. You will coordinate field service engineers, plan visits and ensure the service operation runs smoothly, efficiently and safely, delivering an outstanding experience across the UK.

You will keep SAP and other systems up to date, manage bookings, respond to enquiries, and collaborate with engineering, sales and operations to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and managing Field Service Engineer workloads to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Planning service visits and adapting to changing priorities throughout the day
• Allocating and monitoring work orders from booking through to completion
• Making sure engineers have the information and resources to work safely and effectively
• Arranging service visits with customers and keeping them updated
• Responding to enquiries professionally and promptly
• Providing documentation such as risk assessments, method statements and engineer certifications
• Ensuring every customer has a positive, professional experience
• Keeping business systems (including SAP) accurate and up to date
• Coordinating specialist equipment and calibration tools when needed
• Working with engineering, sales and operations teams to meet customer requirements
• Suggesting improvements that help the team work smarter
