Job summary

Apex M&E Solutions Ltd is seeking a Scheduler based in Shipley to support Field Operations. The role involves back‑office administration, scheduling of responsive, cyclical and commissioning works across regions, and close liaison with engineers and clients.

The team operates 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with a 37.5 hour week and a salary of £27k per annum. This permanent office position includes 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a company pension, private healthcare, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar scheduling/office role.
• Housing Association/Utility/logistics background is beneficial.
• Excellent communication with customers and engineers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Take ownership of problems and resolve them.
• Ability to manage own time and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work in Progress (WIP) management to keep live works within agreed parameters and ensure up-to-date information is available.
• Scheduling and engineer allocation based on location, competencies, and duration.
• Plan regional resources for commissioning works and pre-planned programs.
• Schedule appointments in line with contractual obligations and resource availability; re-schedule if needed.
• Coordinate projects by managing engineer availability and monitoring progress.
• Update Health & Safety flags in SMART Serve and escalate issues as required.
• Coordinate CMV works within your region with engineers and clients.
• Answer calls professionally, log details in SMS, offer service appointments, and manage expectations.
