Our operations run year-round, and due to the nature of the work, shifts cover daytime, weekends, and bank holidays. The contractual working week is approximately .5 hours per week, on a rolling rota including weekends. Evening shifts range from 5 pm to 1 am, with flexibility to start earlier or finish later as needed, based on a rota provided weeks in advance to allow for personal time.
Key Responsibilities
About the Role:
Your daily tasks involve visiting individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment, either alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer. You’ll build trust with each individual, reassure them about their safety and that of the public, and help reduce pressure on the prison system by giving ex-prisoners a chance to reintegrate into their communities. Every day and individual offer unique opportunities and challenges.
You’ll undergo 3 weeks of training and be accompanied by an experienced Officer or Mentor until comfortable in your role. Due to genuine occupational requirements and contractual obligations, we particularly encourage applications from female candidates, in line with the Equality Act 0.
What you need to do the job:

The initial 2-week training, shadowing, and mentorship will equip you with the necessary skills. A valid UK driver’s license, reasonable fitness, and good communication skills are essential for building rapport with individuals you meet.
