Job summary

Nextech Group Limited is seeking a Field-based Service Desk Engineer to join our London-area team, delivering on-site and remote support across desktop, server, and cloud environments.

You will regularly travel to customer sites, building strong stakeholder relationships while representing the company professionally. You will log interactions accurately and provide remote support when not on site, collaborating with the wider service desk to share knowledge and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a 2nd line or service desk role; 1+ year as Field Engineer on multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, virtualization, networking, AD, and antivirus.
• Experience with cloud-hosted Office 365, Exchange and Outlook administration.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to customer sites to deliver on-site technical support.
• Represent the company professionally to maintain its reputation.
• Log all support interactions accurately for account teams.
• Provide remote support by phone and email when not on site; escalate as needed.
