As a field based engineer, you’ll provide invaluable technical support and expertise in data communications. This role involves UK-wide travel, usually away from home Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary of around £35,000 (with flex for the right person)

You’ll be a key part of our team, bringing your defence background and technical skills to the forefront.

You’ll provide installation and commissioning engineering services for MOD / Gov systems, often at short notice.

You’ll support our business generation efforts and be a lead field representative, providing training to other engineers.

• Offer dedicated knowledge and skills in data communications, from simple e-mail applications to complex computer networks involving routers and switches
• Provide installation and commissioning engineering support for MoD / Gov systems, often with short notice requirements
• Lend technical support to business generation activities related to our products
• Support MoD Systems with the build and test of new or repaired systems
• Lead field representative for installations, including training other engineers
• Assist in product and services evaluation, consistent with our company strategy, based on requirements from various departments
• Defence background – could be civil service or MOD or army as well as a defence company
