Job summary

RES Limited is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to work field-based across the East of England. You will conduct technical site surveys, specify systems with installers and homeowners, and deliver on-site quotations and commissioning.

You will build strong relationships with customers, provide remote technical support, and ensure compliance with MCS standards and Building Regulations. The role includes travelling around the region and staying away overnight when required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Heating/Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
• Proven Heat Pump design and installation knowledge (LCL/BPEC).
• G3 unvented water, WRAS compliance and MCS standards familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical site surveys, agree system specifications with installers and homeowners.
• Produce on-site quotations, commission Air Source Heat Pump systems and handle handovers.
• Provide remote technical support and maintain relationships with installers.
• Ensure subcontracted installations meet MCS standards and Building Regulations.
