Job summary
RES-Distribution Ltd (part of the Wolseley Group) is recruiting a Field Based Technical Sales Engineer for East England. You will conduct site surveys, design heat pump systems, produce quotations, and hand over projects to installers.
The role requires travel, with training and strong support to ensure compliance with MCS and Building Regulations. You’ll work with a consultative approach to translate technical data for homeowners and installers, providing remote technical support and overseeing
Qualifications
- Low-temperature hydraulic design experience.
- Electrical fault-finding skills.
- Consultative mindset for translating technical data to customers.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out field-based technical site surveys and specify systems with installers/homeowners.
- Prepare on-site quotations and supervise commissioning of air source heat pump systems.
- Ensure MCS standards and Building Regulations compliance on all regional projects.
- Provide phone-based and remote technical support and maintain relationships with installers.
