Job summary

G10 Trane UK Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an HVAC (AHU) Service Technician to support sales teams, customers and stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of HVAC systems in buildings UK-wide. The role includes installation inspections, commissioning, maintenance and meticulous documentation, with on-site work at customer locations.

Regular travel across the country is required to uphold energy efficiency and regulatory standards, plus handover to facilities

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering background is advantageous.
• CCP certification is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office and CAD.
• National travel; UK experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation inspections and commissioning per drawings, IOMs and standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders for modifications.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC systems for efficiency and reliability.
• Document findings and maintain commissioning records.
• Oversee system implementation from planning to handover, ensuring compliance.
• Tune system performance for energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
• Conduct regulatory and QA tests on HVAC systems.
