Job summary

Trane UK Limited is seeking an AHU Service Technician to support commissioning, service and maintenance of HVAC systems across the Thames Valley and broader UK. You will collaborate with sales teams, customers and contractors to ensure reliable operation and energy-efficient performance.

The role requires hands-on installation verification, testing, documentation and handover, with national travel when required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering background is advantageous.
• Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
• CCP certification is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders.
• Able to travel nationally when required; UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support HVAC commissioning and service on customer sites across the UK.
• Conduct inspections and testing during installation.
• Review design plans and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to address issues.
• Perform system testing and functional performance checks.
• Prepare documentation and handover materials for facilities teams.
• Travel as required to different sites; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
