Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Retail Sales Account Manager to cover Cumbria, focusing on fertiliser sales. The role is primarily account management with some new business development, travelling locally to farm calls and merchant events.

The ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset, strong relationship skills, and a UK driving licence with willingness to travel. Training can be provided for sector-specific knowledge and regulatory requirements, with a company car or car allowance

Qualifikationen

• Strong sales mindset with ability to develop relationships and close deals.
• Experience in agricultural/fertiliser sectors is beneficial or training provided.

Aufgaben

• Conduct Farm Calls with established clients to maintain and grow fertiliser sales.
• Follow up actions from farm calls using an efficient management system.
• Maintain a well organised calling pattern and regional visits.
• Support Merchants and Agents, providing product training to distributors.
• Develop knowledge of environmental legislation relevant to farm products.
• Promote branded products at merchant meetings and local events.
• Communicate outcomes back to customers and plan regional sales campaigns.
