Westray Recruitment Consultants Ltd is seeking an Agriculture Retail Sales Manager to focus 85% on account management and 15% on new sales. The role covers the South West Scotland region with travel required and a negotiable annual salary around 40k, plus bonus, with 33 days leave and a company car or allowance.

Responsibilities

• Conducting farm calls with established clients and developing relationships while maintaining current fertiliser sales volumes.
• Ensure actions from farm calls are followed up promptly using an efficient management system.
• Maintain a well-organised calling pattern and support an established network of Merchants and Agents.
• Provide technical and product training to distributors to promote branded products.
• Develop knowledge of environmental legislation and processor requirements.
• Participate in merchant meetings to promote products and represent the brand at local events.
• Communicate back to customers on farm calls and actions arising.
• Plan, organise and implement regional sales campaigns to relevant customers.
• Monitor KPIs and report findings to the Line Manager.
