A community support services provider is seeking a Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker/Driver in Sutton Coldfield. This role involves assisting with household tasks, providing personal care support, and enabling the employer’s social activities. Job Title: Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker/Driver (The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010)
Hours: Minimum of 14 hours per week
Working Pattern: Tuesday & Thursday & occasionally Saturday
Hours available over weekends also
Flexible working is required as times depend on what I’m doing week to week. You could be required to work any time between 8am and 8pm although this would not be a frequent occurrence. Rotas would be available a week in advance and open to discussion. Flexibility would be required to cover annual leave and sickness.
Rates of Pay: £12.21 per hour.
Work Area/Location: Sutton Coldfield, B75 and surrounding areas within the community.
Responsible to: Directly to the employer.
I love to get out and about and meet people in the community. I enjoy going to the theatre and cinema. I love the outdoors and visiting different places. I love music and I would be keen to go to concerts again. I have a good sense of humour and want to have fun. I go on occasional trips to London; this would require support from my Personal Assistant (all costs would be met by me).
You don’t need to have any prior experience in care. What matters to me the most is personality and integrity. Training will be given if necessary and I can talk people through how I like things done. I would like this to be a long‑term post so commitment is necessary.
This role is subject to completion of a DBS check which is a free and confidential service.
This role carries a 3-month probationary period.
This role requires 2 satisfactory references.
