Job summary

A leading educational organisation in the North East is looking for a resilient and committed Female PE Teacher to inspire young students to be fit and healthy. The ideal candidate will plan and deliver engaging PE lessons, assess student progress, and implement individualised learning plans. A QTS and a degree in Physical Education are essential. Qualifications

  • Experience teaching physical education to primary and/or secondary school students.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the national curriculum for physical education.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall development of students.

Skills

Experience working with students with SEN needs

Job Title: Female PE Teacher

Location: Sunderland

Salary: 160-200

Start date: ASAP

Empowering Learning are looking for resilient and committed PE Teachers for various roles we have available within the Teesside area for both Primary and Secondary Settings. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for PE and inspire young students to be fit and healthy.

The Role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall development of students
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or related field
  • Experience teaching physical education to primary and/or secondary school students
Experience:
  • Experience working with students with SEN needs such as SEMH
  • Demonstrated understanding of the national curriculum for physical education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
