Overview

Female Care Assistant (18+) to provide support to cover maternity leave. The role may become permanent. Up to 20 hours per month to support a female adult with special needs. Flexible in working hours (at least 3 Saturdays per month).

£13 per hour

Desirable experience / Qualifications

• Able to drive/have access to own vehicle
• Experience working with special needs children/adults
• Able to help the young lady to access activities within the community
• Liaise with the family to plan days out for the client
• Familiarity with the local area of County Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland
• Support with managing money, community safety and managing activities
• No personal care required
• A DBS will be required but this will be paid for by the employer
