A major NHS Trust in Nottingham is looking for a Senior Trainee in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. The role requires full GMC registration and experience in breast surgical oncology. Responsibilities include attending clinics, peri-operative care, and participating in various breast procedures. Offering a structured environment with opportunities for independent practice.
This is an opportunity to work in an internationally respected unit at the forefront of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. The successful applicant will be working at senior trainee level.
Successful applicants need to have full GMC registration. FRCS examinations. Post-CCT with sound basic knowledge in breast surgical oncology and/or breast reconstruction and clinical skills in assessment and management of breast disease is essential along with micro-surgery experience or fellowship. This fellowship will allow surgeons from a Plastic Surgery background with special interest in breast oncology.
This is a 40 hour per week post with no on-call commitment. The weekly timetable will vary and will include the following:
