Job summary

A family support service provider located in Accrington is looking for a Bank Family Support Worker and Full-Time/Part-Time Family Support Worker. You will provide direct support to families, ensuring child safety and promoting essential parenting skills. Candidates must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and experience in child welfare. The role involves flexibility, with opportunities for day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and families.
• Previous experience of working in a residential setting is desirable.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and protection of children.

Responsibilities

• Act as the keyworker for complex parenting assessments.
• Develop relationships with parents and children.
• Conduct one-to-one and group work sessions.
• Manage risks to ensure children’s and families’ safety.
