Job description

We are looking for a motivated and client-focused Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our client’s busy Family & Matrimonial Department in Cullompton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for family law who is committed to delivering outstanding client service.

You will advise and support clients on a broad range of family law matters, including:

  • Divorce and civil partnership

  • Separation and cohabitee issues

  • Financial matters arising from family breakdown

  • Children law cases

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing your own caseload efficiently and effectively

  • Delivering accurate, timely advice in line with risk management procedures

  • Staying up to date with changes in legislation and case law

  • Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships

  • Taking an active role in the marketing and development of the department

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Experience in family law matters (divorce, finance, children, separation, and cohabitee issues)

  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and professional approach

  • Excellent client care skills and the ability to work well within a team

  • Good IT skills and attention to detail

A knowledge of the legal aid system would be an advantage, but is not essential.
