Family Law Partner - Head of Family
Newcastle City Centre | Highly Competitive Salary

Think Legal Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a highly regarded full-service law firm to recruit a Family Law Partner to lead their growing Family department in Newcastle city centre.

This is a rare opportunity to head up the family law practice at a modern, progressive firm with a long-established reputation and ambitious growth plans.

The Role

As Head of Family, you'll lead the department while managing your own prestigious caseload. Day-to-day you'll be:

  • Managing complex, high net worth matrimonial matters with assets worth several millions
  • Handling sophisticated financial provision cases including business assets, pensions, family trusts, TOLATA cases and pre/post nuptial agreements
  • Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations
  • Leading, mentoring and developing the family law team
  • Driving business development and building strategic relationships with clients and referrers
  • Overseeing departmental performance, budgeting and profitability

What You'll Need
  • Qualified solicitor with substantial PQE in family law
