Job summary

A family support organization in Sunderland is seeking a Family Care & Support Worker to provide essential support to young people and their families, including those with disabilities. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, with flexible hours covering early mornings and evenings. You must have the right to work in the UK. Overview

Family Care & Support Worker
Grade 3 SCP 7-11 £26,403 - £28,142 pro rata
Part Time - 16 hours per week
Monday – Sunday between the house of 7.00am – 8.00pm

Responsibilities
  • Provide a range of support for young people and their families, including support for children and young people with a disability and/or complex needs.
  • Carry out personal care tasks and support the child/young person to access play, recreation and leisure opportunities within the community, at home, or in a youth club provision.
  • Contribute to the implementation of care plans by delivering a flexible service during the day, early mornings, evenings, weekends and during school holidays.
