Are you someone working as a supervisor looking to step into a Facilities Supervisor role? Join our friendly and supportive Facilities team as a Facilities Supervisor based at Yeatman Hospital in Sherborne.

Responsibilities
  • Possess knowledge of cleaning and catering processes, including Infection Prevention Control and COSHH.
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring day‑to‑day tasks are met.
  • Carry out cleaning audits, pre‑planned maintenance and rota planning.
  • Perform office‑based duties such as cleaning audits and rota planning.
  • Maintain the grounds and gardens to a tidy and presentable standard.
  • Assist in recruitment, induction, probationary period development and training of staff.
  • Ensure correct work methods are observed.
  • Carry out and ensure completion of all personal and staff training.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar supervisor role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and catering processes.
  • Understanding of Infection Prevention Control and COSHH.
  • Passion to learn how to lead a team and experience with staff management.
Working Hours

Full‑time Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times. Regular hours: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, one late shift a fortnight to support the evening team, and one day a month on the weekend.
