Overview

We are recruiting for a Facilities Operative (Cleaner) role at Faversham Health Centre. This is a part-time role and will involve working every weekend and rostered Bank Holidays including Christmas and New Year.

Experience within the commercial cleaning industry or a health and social care setting is welcomed.

Salary and Benefits

Your hourly rate in this role will be £12.51. Weekend and Bank Holidays will attract an enhanced hourly pay.

• 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Your annual leave entitlement increases with length of service.

Rota

Proposed rota as follows:

• Monday - 5am to 8am
• Tuesday & Wednesday days off
• Thursday - 5am to 8am
• Friday - 5am to 8am
• Saturday - 5am to 8am
• Sunday - 5am to 8am

Please note any rota is subject to change to ensure cover for Annual Leave and other absences.

Role details

This is primarily a hands-on cleaning position where you will learn all the background skills and knowledge to enable you to complete the role, e.g. enhanced and periodic clean training, NHS National Cleaning standards, completion of paperwork, equipment training, COSHH, waste management and basic catering tasks.
