IWFM in Portsmouth seeks a Facilities Manager to deliver on-site FM services, ensuring compliant, accessible, and comfortable facilities while developing national FM initiatives. The role involves managing contracts, maintenance, safety, and stakeholder collaboration to improve efficiency and sustainability on site.

You will lead the Deputy FM and Facilities Assistants, drive budgets and contracts, and maintain strong relationships with departments to support operations.

Competenze

• Proven experience in facilities management.
• Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
• Experience managing health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong line management and proactive contract management experience.
• Budget management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and IT literacy.
• Knowledge of legislation related to building management and safety.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Mansioni

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and oversee preventative maintenance of infrastructure and building fabric.
• Proactively manage contracts to ensure value for money and that obligations are met.
• Oversee day-to-day facilities management services with a focus on customer care.
• Contribute to and monitor a five-year Forward Maintenance Plan.
• Manage site security procedures, access controls, and contracted security services.
• Analyze facilities data to optimize services and promote sustainability practices.
• Monitor health and safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with emergency plans.
• Provide first aid and act as incident warden with up-to-date training.
• Deliver tailored office accommodation to meet customer needs and respond promptly.
