Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Facilities and Compliance Manager to oversee the management of offices and premises on a national scale. The role reports to the Director of SHEQ and focuses on compliance, maintenance leadership, and contract governance across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will hold IWFM qualification or equivalent, have strong FM and workplace compliance experience, and be adept at managing FM/M&E contractors, SLAs, and KPIs while collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications

• IWFM qualification or equivalent
• Strong FM experience in commercial offices
• Strong workplace compliance experience
• Experience managing FM and/or M&E contractors
• Ability to manage SLAs and KPIs and drive service performance
• Experience overseeing multiple sites and geographically dispersed locations
• Strong contractor and supplier management experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and systems including fire safety and water hygiene
• Oversee FM and M&E contractors
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes
• Drive service performance via KPIs and SLAs
• Support sustainability and workplace improvement initiatives
• Provide reporting to SHEQ Leadership and Board
• Maintain high compliance standards and response levels
• Conduct regular inspections and site visits
