Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Facilities and Compliance Manager to lead the management of offices and premises nationwide. You will drive efficiency, oversee FM/M&E contractors and ensure compliance with fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, and gas standards, reporting to the SHEQ leadership.

The role requires IWFM qualification or equivalent, strong FM experience in commercial offices, and the ability to manage SLAs and KPIs across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• IWFM qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with facilities management in commercial offices.
• Experience managing FM/M&E contractors and multiple sites.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and management systems (fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas).
• Oversee FM and M&E contractors.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Drive service performance via KPIs and SLAs.
• Support sustainability, business continuity, and workplace improvement initiatives.
• Provide reporting to SHEQ Leadership and Board.
• Ensure high compliance standards and timely responses.
• Conduct regular compliance inspections and site visits.
