Job summary

The Works Stores Ltd is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator in Coleshill, offering a hybrid role with 4 days at our Support Centre and the rest remote/office. You’ll act as the link between stores, contractors and internal teams to progress requests, control costs and ensure high maintenance standards.

You'll review FM requests, obtain quotes, raise PO's and track progress. A can-do, organised approach and good Excel skills are essential for success in this busy environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn Facilities and Maintenance Coordination.
• Retail environment familiarity is a plus.
• Strong admin skills with confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Knowledge of Fire Safety Order 2005 and health & safety awareness.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Patient, methodical workload management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and action Facilities & Maintenance requests from stores.
• Keep requests moving by monitoring progress with contractors.
• Coordinate maintenance by obtaining quotes and placing orders.
• Raise purchase orders and support invoice authorisation.
• Order fixtures and fittings with right specifications.
• Arrange waste collection and resolve service queries with providers.
• Coordinate store window cleaning and non-service complaints.
• Monitor costs and prepare weekly management reports.
• Manage planned maintenance activities and service sheets.
• Arrange insurance works and follow-up to completion.
