Job summary

The Works Stores Ltd is seeking a proactive Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to join our support network. You’ll manage requests from stores, coordinate contractors, raise orders and track progress to completion.

Hybrid role with four days at Coleshill Support Centre, Birmingham, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to control costs and maintain high standards of facilities across stores.

Qualifications

• Good general business administration skills.
• Interest in facilities and maintenance coordination in a retail environment.
• Confident with MS Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and action Facilities & Maintenance requests raised by stores through our property management system.
• Keep live requests moving by monitoring progress, following up with contractors and updating stores through to completion.
• Coordinate maintenance works by obtaining contractor quotes, placing orders, checking progress and confirming works have been completed satisfactorily.
• Raise purchase orders, check invoices and support authorisation in line with company processes.
• Organise routine waste services and arrange ad-hoc waste facilities.
• Monitor costs and prepare weekly management reports.
