• Completing Dynamic Risk Assessments while adhering to health and safety policies.
• Electrical installation of new office, factory floor, and external services.
• Installation, repair, and regulatory testing of all site internal and external lighting.
• Installation and repair of site fire alarm systems.
• Installation and repair of site data network infrastructure.
• Utilizing a Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP PM, Agility etc).

18th Edition Wiring Regulation

NVQ Level 2 or 3 Electrical Installation Qualifications

Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

Experience in electrical installation/maintenance

The Opportunity

As a Facilities Electrical Installation Technician, your main responsibilities will span a wide range of electrical work. This includes installation, commissioning, fault-finding, maintenance, and repair, all in accordance with current legislation and codes of practice. In addition, you will be working with the extended team on a wide range of varied tasks to include all aspects of Facility site maintenance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Completing Dynamic Risk Assessments along with adhering to the company’s Health and Safety policy

• Electrical installation of new office, factory floor & external services

• Installation, repair & regulatory testing of all sites internal & external lighting

• Installation & repair of site fire alarm systems

• Installation & repair of site data network infrastructure

• Utilising a Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP PM, Agility etc)

• Complete training and further learning as required

Degree Requirement

ONC or HNC Required

Skills, experience & qualifications you will have

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulation

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Electrical Installation Qualifications

• Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

• Experience in electrical installation/maintenance

• An interest in problem solving and passion to learn

• Highly motivated with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work as part of a team and be comfortable to work independently

• Experience in the use of hand tools and test equipment

• Lock out Tag out SSoW

Top Candidates will have

• Compex

• IPAF Licence

• Knowledge of CDM Regulations

• Asbestos awareness

• BMS experience

• BS5239 Part 1 Fire systems

• PASMA
