Job summary

CBRE in London is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to support the Building Manager with day-to-day operations, health and safety, and client/tenant requirements within budget and service standards.

You will oversee site inspections, budget reporting, contractor management, tenant liaison, and health and safety audits, ensuring high-quality maintenance and timely actions.

The role requires supervisory experience in facilities, IOSH knowledge, strong communication, and IT literacy for industry tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in a facilities environment in a supervisory or management role.
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of premises management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and environmental protection; IOSH preferred.
• IT literate with industry-specific IT applications.
• Ability to work independently in a pressurised environment with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fabric of the building to a high standard within the contract and budgets.
• Assist with drafting, control and reporting of the service charge budget and expenditure.
• Conduct regular site inspections and organise remedial actions when needed.
• Collaborate with Building Manager, stakeholders and contractors to ensure maintenance programmes are in place.
• Participate in tenant meetings and address issues per service criteria.
• Ensure health and safety audits are carried out and records maintained (Meridian system).
• Coordinate major works with contractors and consultants on-site.
• Produce management reports and assist with external contracts.
