Job summary

CBRE is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at a London-based property. The role emphasizes health and safety compliance, service quality, and cost control within the service charge framework.

The candidate will lead a site team, manage budgets, reports, and contract activity while maintaining excellent occupier relationships and coordinating with procurement and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent.
• Experience in facilities management of property or portfolio.
• Knowledge of the technical aspect of premises management.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation; environmental protection knowledge.
• IT literate with experience of industry IT applications.
• Ability to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment.
• IOSH qualification.
• IWFM qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, control and monitor the service charge budget in accordance with the client’s budgetary agreement and timescales, with Senior Facilities Manager.
• Prepare management reports to meet business needs.
• Be responsible for all health and safety compliance, audits, fire evacuations and site updates, maintain Meridian tool.
• Proactively manage risk and insurance compliance on site with public and statutory bodies.
• Assist with compilation of external contracts with Senior Facilities Manager and Procurement Department; ensure policy compliance.
• Compile and maintain site management information and records (asset register, emergency plans, etc.).
• Liaise with local authorities as appropriate.
• Perform any other duties as required by the business.
