Our client, a fast-growing and ambitious family-run engineering company, is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their skilled team. With an established reputation across the transport and construction sectors, they work with high-profile clients across the UK and are entering an exciting new chapter of growth.

UK wide travel - Full UK driving licence required

Benefits:

• Salary: £13.00 £19.50 per hour (DOE)
• Hours of work: 39 hours per week
• Location: Based in NG21, with 80% nationwide travel

The Role:
You'll be fabricating and welding using mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, supporting on-site projects at customer sites across the UK. The role offers variety and room to grow ideal for someone hands-on and solutions-focused.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer sites nationwide to carry out fabrication and welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium on vehicles, plant, and structural components
• Perform on-site modifications, installations, and repairs based on client requirements and engineering drawings
• Liaise with clients and site teams to assess job requirements, provide practical solutions, and ensure high-quality workmanship
• Support workshop-based fabrication projects when not on-site, assisting with prep work and equipment maintenance

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in fabrication and welding
• Confident welding with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• General understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics (training can be provided)
• High attention to detail and ability to work under own initiative
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence required
