Job summary

A global casino-entertainment company in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead operations and staff in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of food safety standards. This role includes supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring quality control. Flexibility with hours is required, as the operation runs 24/7.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and self-manage.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Stocktaking experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer queries and disputes in accordance with Company procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of F&B staff.
• Coach staff on upselling, product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain quality control for all food and beverages served.
• Oversee inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Train & mentor staff to maximize productivity.
• Assist in menu planning and special event organization.
• Provide day-to-day operational support and oversight.
