EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Woodford Green, Waltham Forest
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £95-110 a day

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming 2‑form entry primary school in Woodford Green. This role is offered through our agency on a full‑time basis and is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and child development.

The school is committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing environment, and every class includes pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will play a key role in supporting these pupils, as well as contributing to the wider EYFS team.

About the Role
  • Support teaching and learning across the EYFS setting
  • Work with pupils with SEN, providing tailored support and encouragement
  • Contribute to creating, setting up and developing a stimulating learning environment
  • Lead small‑group and individual activities to promote engagement and progress
  • Work collaboratively as part of an experienced and supportive early years team
  • Show initiative and take shared responsibility for maintaining high‑quality provision
Requirements
