Are you a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a full time role in a lovely local primary school?

We are working closely with a friendly, welcoming primary school in the BS11 area that is seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support on a full time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and supporting young children in their learning journey.

Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning in EYFS in a nurturing, inclusive environment
  • Work with groups and individual children to reinforce learning and promote progress
  • Assist with preparing resources and supporting planned activities
  • Help maintain a calm, purposeful classroom with positive behaviour management
  • Support children with their personal development including social skills and independence
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure continuity for children
  • Contribute positively to the warm, community focused ethos of this lovely school
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience working with children in an EYFS setting
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
  • Patient, nurturing and able to build strong relationships with children and staff
  • Good communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach
