Job summary

M&S Opticians is seeking an Optical Advisor to deliver high-quality eye and hearing care services while promoting offerings within the M&S store. You will assist customers in selecting eyewear, educate on care, and ensure a seamless experience with strong retail foundations.

In a fast-paced environment, you'll maintain records, manage stock, schedule appointments, and support fittings and contact lenses while aiming to meet store sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.

• Experience in retail, customer service or sales.

• Promote optical and hearing services within the store to drive appointments.

• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses suited to their needs and lifestyle.
• Perform basic adjustments and repairs.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Support the fitting and dispensing of contact lenses.
• Conduct preliminary pre-tests and measurements.
