Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the friendly first and last face customers meet on the shop floor. You will build relationships, listen to needs and help customers find the right eyewear solution while supporting eye tests and pre-screening activities.

Based in store, you will benefit from Boots' Step Into Optics training and develop skills through hands-on experience, repairs and aftercare, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service every day.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Worked in a retail or clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintaining shop floor standards
