Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor, helping them find the right eyewear solution and building meaningful relationships. You will take part in pre-screening activities for eye-tests and benefit from the 'Step Into Optics' training programme, combining workshops with practical experience.

You will be based in store, report to the store manager, and assist with dispensing, aftercare, and daily store operations

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Worked in a retail or clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses on the shop floor.
• Supporting eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare through repairs and adjustments; handling associated administrative tasks.
