Overview

Do you have sales and design experience from the luxury wool manufacturing industry? Are you relentless in your focus and driven to fully commit to your customers? Do you enjoy regular overseas travel?

We're partnering with a hugely successful British heritage brand who are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Export Sales Account Manager.

This is a customer-focused sales role where you'll work in support of the Brand Director to maintain strong working relationships with high end, luxury brand clients such as Chanel and Gucci.

It's the kind of role that will consume you both inside and outside of work; we're looking for someone relentless in their passion for beautiful fabrics and who is willing and able to travel extensively.

You'll be joining an intimately collaborative business, so when you're not overseas, you'll be based at the manufacturing site in West Yorkshire.

About You
  • Before you read on any further, it's essential that you have a strong knowledge of wool / worsted manufacturing and the end products
  • You'll have an impeccable track record in account management / customer service / sales, where your client base are high end, requiring a lot of attention
  • As well as being utterly professional, you should also have grit and determination with the ability to negotiate
  • A true brand ambassador, you'll maintain strong working relationships with your extensive customer base, attending face to face meetings often in Paris, Italy and London
  • Natural drive, genuine ambition and tenacity are what propels you through your chosen career path
  • Selling to apex brands will stimulate you no end
  • You'll enjoy a lot of travel - there's nothing holding you back
  • You'll be commutable to West Yorkshire
About The Job
  • Joining as Export Sales Account Manager, you'll be responsible for looking after a high-value portfolio of luxury brand customers
  • Wherever possible, you will be front-facing with your client base to discuss upcoming trends, seasonal product launches and one-off product requests
  • You'll be the glue holding together the relationships between your customer and the flagship production facility in West Yorkshire; with your strong export knowledge, hardy administration skills and your flair for design, you'll be a key player in the production of your customers' unique and beautiful fabrics
  • You will keep on top of what your competitors are making and provide market intelligence to the design team; working closely with them to create new designs in keeping with seasonal changes and trends
  • It's not a numbers driven role; your aim is to retain customers and continue to build the relationships further
  • There's no doubt about it, there is a lot of travel required as part of this role
