Exhibition Project Manager – Modular & Custom Build

Location: Birmingham – Office-based with some flexibility

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

About the Company

We’re working with a well-established, highly regarded exhibition and live events company based in Birmingham. Specialising in bespoke and modular stand builds, they deliver world-class experiences across the UK and Europe for leading global brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Exhibition Project Manager to join a fast-moving, creative team and play a central role in delivering memorable builds at major venues and exhibitions.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of projects from initial brief through to on-site delivery and breakdown. Working closely with clients, internal teams, and suppliers, you’ll ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

You must have experience managing exhibition stand projects (modular or custom). This is essential for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage exhibition stand builds and event projects from concept to completion
• Coordinate logistics, budgeting, quoting, and timelines
• Oversee on-site delivery, installation, and breakdown
• Lead client communication and manage expectations
• Collaborate with design, production, and fabrication teams
• Maintain project tracking via systems like Monday.com and HubSpot
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards
• Support and mentor junior project team members

What You’ll Need

Minimum 3 years’ experience managing projects within the exhibition industry

Experience handling budgets between £15K – £250K

Confident reading floorplans and build specs

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Calm under pressure and great at juggling multiple priorities

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Strong knowledge of health & safety and onsite delivery
