Executive Pastry Chef – The Dorchester

Our Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for managing pastry and bakery kitchens to deliver the best experience across our culinary offerings at The Dorchester. The role involves leading creativity for one‑of‑a‑kind masterpieces such as cake and flowers, the artistry of afternoon tea, and show‑stopping amenities in our suites. Special requests, dietary requirements, bespoke products and special occasions are also handled by the Executive Pastry Chef and the brigade.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, train and motivate a high-performing pastry team that delivers the very best culinary experience and refined attention to detail.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful culture that brings out the best in people.
  • Communicate with other departments and the extended hotel team to ensure alignment and seamless operations.
  • Manage weekday and weekend productions, ensuring consistency and creativity day after day.
  • Oversee all aspects of pastry and bakery production, including menu development, inventory management and cost control.
  • Ensure all creations meet the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation.
