Job summary

Bromford is seeking two Housing Workers to support customers living in temporary accommodation at Griffin Place in Aylesbury. This fixed-site role requires full-time evenings (2.30pm–10.30pm) Monday to Friday, with no travel between sites.

You will build relationships, explain licence conditions, help manage rent, complete records, assist with grant funding, lettings and repairs, and liaise with partner agencies to move customers toward independent, settled housing.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management, tenancy sustainment and customer coaching.
• Ability to communicate clearly, manage workload and use IT systems.
• Experience with welfare benefits, grants or tenancy support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with customers in temporary accommodation.
• Help customers understand licence conditions, manage rent and sustain accommodation.
• Complete and maintain accurate records and assist with grants and funding applications.
• Handle lettings, relets, end-of-licence processes and raise repairs.
• Document conversations and actions; liaise with internal teams and partner agencies.
• Use IT systems to update records and manage caseload.
• Engage customers to move toward independence with constructive conversations.
