Job summary

Bromford Housing Group is recruiting two part-time Housing Workers to support customers living in temporary accommodation at Griffin Place, Aylesbury. The role is fixed-site at Griffin Place with weekend shifts (8am-4pm) and 15 hours per week.

You will help customers sustain accommodation, understand responsibilities, and move toward settled housing. As a Housing Worker, you’ll build relationships with customers, agencies and support services, record-keeping, and use IT systems to manage your

Qualifications

• Ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with customers.
• Organised and reliable, able to manage own workload.
• Comfortable using IT systems and following processes.
• Willingness to have honest conversations and set boundaries.
• Experience in housing, welfare or customer service roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with customers in temporary accommodation.
• Help customers understand licence conditions, rent responsibilities, and sustain accommodation.
• Maintain accurate records: grants, lettings, repairs, conversations and actions.
• Raise and track repairs and liaise with internal and partner teams.
• Use IT systems to update records and manage caseload and documentation.
