Job summary

Marshall BYD Maidstone is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join the aftersales team. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining a range of vehicles, with diagnostic and repair duties supported by modern facilities and manufacturer training.

You’ll work in a full-time, 40-hour week (Monday to Friday) with opportunities for career development, accreditation training and additional benefits through Marshall Motor Group.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and servicing work.
• Strong teamwork skills and commitment to safety and quality.
• MOT Licence is a plus; full training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, with digital write-ups and job card completion.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.
