Job summary

Marshall Ford King's Lynn is seeking a skilled Diagnostic or Master Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. The role offers 45 hours per week on a rota basis, including weekends, with a generous basic salary and a substantial bonus potential based on time saved, team profit and CSI metrics.

You’ll work with state-of-the-art facilities, manufacturer training and a supportive team to advance your technical career, including EV work where qualified, and opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and a recognised Diagnostic qualification.
• Experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic preferred; brand qualification considered.
• Strong teamwork, safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to progress with company training including EV technologies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix hard-to-find issues.
• Assist Apprentice Technicians with development where needed.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
• You’ll use your expertise in diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hard to find issues.
• You’ll assist Apprentice Technicians with development where needed.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a minimum of a Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance, and a recognised Diagnostic qualification
• Someone with previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic ideally, but if just brand qualified we will consider your application!
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Most importantly, someone with a desire to progress with us, as we will commit to supporting and developing you with constant manufacturer training to keep on top of the latest technologies and EV requirements!
