Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz of Blackpool is seeking a Service Technician to service and maintain a range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The role offers a strong base salary of £36,815 with uncapped OTE up to £48,000, plus 25 days’ annual leave and a pension scheme.

A MOT licence is a plus and full manufacturer training is provided to support your development. The successful candidate will join a collaborative workshop with opportunities to progress within Marshall Motor Group and benefit from exclusive

• Must have a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experienced Service Technician/Mechanic with exposure to warranty and servicing work.
• Strong teamwork, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, with digital write-ups and job cards.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

About The Role

Service Technician

In this role:

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
