Job summary

Marshall Motor Group’s Marshall Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van Andover site is looking for a HGV Technician to join a busy, four‑day? 45‑hour week night‑shift operation.

You will service and maintain a range of vehicles, perform diagnostics, warranty work and repairs, with digital write‑ups and job cards. Qualifications

• recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with warranty and servicing work.
• MOT Licence is a plus – training available if not yet qualified.
• Eager to learn and develop through manufacturer accreditation training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostics, warranty and repair work.
• Handle various maintenance tasks from oil changes to engine changes with digital write-ups and job cards.
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

About The Role

HGV Technician

Marshall Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van Andover

22:00 - 07:30

In this role:

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to engine changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
