Job summary

Marshall BYD Northampton is seeking a qualified Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. You’ll service and maintain a range of vehicles, perform diagnostics, warranty and repairs, and complete digital write-ups.

We offer an attractive package: 37,895 base, 49,500 OTE, 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance and pension, staff discounts, and manufacturer training to develop your skills in electric and hybrid vehicle servicing.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience as Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to warranty and servicing work.
• Strong teamwork and safety/quality standards.
• MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
• Willing to learn and progress with manufacturer accreditation training.

Responsibilities

• You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
• You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.
