The European Credit Structuring is looking to recruit a qualified lawyer with Leveraged Finance experience to join the team to assist on and structure complex transactions with the European Direct Lending business.
European Credit Structuring is a cross product structuring team, working alongside Deutsche Bank’s market leading Global Credit Financing & Solutions (GCFS) business. The team comprises product specific specialists from a broad range of professional backgrounds, working along-side traders to execute transactions of a particularly complex and structured nature. They are expected to participate in the origination, structuring and execution of non-standard transactions across Europe.
You will complement existing asset and execution expertise within the Direct Lending business. You will receive training and mentoring from more senior Credit Structurers within the team to develop your understanding of the market and the bespoke nature of the structures that you will be involved in.
Over time, you will be expected to be able to oversee a deal team through the full life cycle of a transaction and be able to understand and negotiate documents and structures for non-vanilla transactions. There will also be ample opportunity to develop your non legal skill sets, given this is not an internal legal role. Restructuring, special situations transactions and structured finance experience are a plus.
